  • Orders under $200

    • Standard Australia Post (2-8 business days from dispatch) – $15

    • Express Australia Post (1-4 business days from dispatch) – $20

  • DHL Next-Day Delivery$45

  • Click & Collect – Customers can collect their order directly from our atelier.

Returns & exchanges

At Bernadette Pimenta Couture, we take pride in our craftsmanship and quality. Please review our policy before making a purchase.

Eligibility for exchange or store credit

  • You must notify us of your intent to return an item within 7 days of receiving your order.

  • Custom-made gowns and garments (including custom sizing or modifications) are not eligible for return or exchange unless faulty.

  • Standard-sized gowns and garments (with no customisations) are eligible for exchange or store credit, provided they are in perfect, resellable condition.

  • In cases where a product is faulty, Australian Consumer Law applies (see below).

Return conditions

  • The item must be unworn, unaltered, and in its original condition, with all tags attached.

  • Please try on your gown on a clean, carpeted floor, avoiding makeup, lotions, or fake tan.

  • Once returned, our customer care team will conduct a quality check to determine if the item is in perfect, resellable condition. If approved, you will receive:

    • Store credit valid for 2 years, or

    • An option for exchange.

Veil returns policy

Due to hygiene reasons, Bernadette Pimenta Couture veils are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged.
If you believe your veil is faulty, please contact our customer service team within 7 days of receiving your order.

Sale items

All sale items are final sale and ineligible for return or exchange unless faulty. If the item is faulty, Australian Consumer Law applies.

Australian Consumer Law

If your item has a minor defect, we will remedy the defect within a reasonable time and cover shipping costs. This may include:

  • Fixing or repairing the product

  • Replacing the product with an identical item

  • Providing a refund for the order price

If your item has a major defect, we will comply with Australian Consumer Law as outlined in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). This means you are entitled to:

  • A refund, or

  • A replacement, at your election, provided you return the item to us at our cost.

Important information

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, and the item remains their responsibility until received by Bernadette Pimenta Couture.

  • We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure your return arrives safely.
