Here are some of Bernadette’s suggestions on latest trends to get you thinking about what will truly make YOU look gorgeous in your gown.
-
Less is more
Textured and plain fabrics give the gown a timeless and modern feel. We choose to work with Mikado and Zibeline, providing structure and definition to a gown without the extra weight. The plain fabrics are soft to touch and allow for fluid movement. The textured fabrics provide detail to a gown without the need to add embellishments and make the design line of the gown the main feature.
-
Plunging necklines
Necklines have gradually become more plunging and corsetry has now become a prominent design feature, even though it has always been considered an integral part of constructing couture wedding dresses. Lingerie inspired corsetry and plunging necklines are able to be paired up with a myriad of options, from the most voluminous skirt to the sleekest figure-hugging wedding gown to make you feel like yourself on your special day.

Sparkles and glitter
If you have always envisioned a glamorous and extravagant designer wedding dress…Sparkles are the way to go! And if you are all about opulence for your wedding dress, glittering palliates is the option for you. Our collection includes a large range of hand-beaded sequin and Swarovski crystal wedding gowns and we ensure that the beading design is personalised to compliment you.
-
Striking splits
Splits become a feature to the simplest of wedding gowns, whether in the centre, side or overlapped. They can be demure and subtle or even risqué and fun. If you want to showcase a statement shoe, a split is the perfect way to ensure it doesn’t go unnoticed. Splits are very versatile and can be incorporated in any style of gown.
-
Statement backs
‘Barely there’ backs are quite popular. Whether it is a draping cowl, keyhole or totally backless! The trend of a heavy silk bias gown with the main feature being a cowl back has lasted through the years. If a low back is something that’s ‘you’, we can surely accommodate that on the dress of your choice.

3D florals
Have fun with your florals! 3D Floral motifs instantly elevates a plain wedding dress. Coloured florals are perfect for the contemporary bride while all-white floral motifs are for the classic bride. Have a vision in your head of your romantic floral gown? Let us bring it to life.
